Re: Funeral Mass of Deacon Bill Summer
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
On Sunday, March 16, 2025, we received the sad news of the passing of Deacon Bill Summer (retired deacon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Marfolie). Deacon Bill Summer was part of the first class of deacons ordained in our diocese on June 10, 1984. Throughout his life, until his retirement and eventual passing, he remained a devoted and faithful servant of the Church.
The funeral Mass for Deacon Bill Summer will be presided over by His Excellency, Most Reverend Jerome Feudjio, on Tuesday March 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Marfolie. A viewing will precede the funeral at 9:00 AM in the same Church.
We extend our deepest condolences to Deacon Bill's entire family and warmly invite you to pray for him and the family. Thus, following his funeral and burial, all Parishes within the Diocese of St Thomas in the Virgin Islands are invited to celebrate a parish Mass for the eternal repose of his soul.
May his gentle soul rest in the peace of the Lord.
