The new transfers and appointments in the Diocese of St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands go into effect on Wednesday January 15, 2025.
Following thorough consultation in the Parishes with the Pastoral Councils, the Diocesan Bishop, Most Rev. Jerome Feudjio, released on December 28, 2025, a document with the changes. The document indicated the transfers and appointments are a response to the needs of the Diocese. These transfers and appointments were then made known to all the faithful during the Masses over the following weekend in all the Parishes.
Notable in the document is the introduction of a new chaplaincy for the Apostleship of the Sea and Cruise Ship, the Diocesan Building and Facilities for each of the two deaneries, as well as the change of Pastors/Administrators in six of the nine Parishes.
